I'm looking to purchase a chest of drawers for my son (no Ikea--don't have the time to assemble, and all the kid's furniture we do have is falling apart now) I tried the place on Route 22 but wasn't in love with the quality or styles. Are there any other local suggestions? I had picked out a chest of drawers in Land of Nod, but with the shipping fee, it makes it very expensive. I tend to like very straightforward, clean lines--nothing fussy or bulky.

It isn't cheap but you can try Ethan Allen Kids:

I'd also check out misson or shaker styles for adults. Crate & Barrel in SH Mall might have something. Roomandboard.com but you again have to do some assembly.
