The pup was found, if anyone was wondering. Got in a tiff with local coyotes. Scratched up and a swollen eye. Poor thing.

There's a terrific animal hospital in Oradell, with wonderful specialists in many veterinary fields. Was Jaak taken there? If the run-in was with feral coyotes (are there any other kinds?), shots may be in order...

Soda-
I'm betting the animal hospital you posted about is the same one I used for the kitty who lived with us back 1990-1991. If I remember correctly it was off the GSP to the right. I think Knickerbocker Road or something like that. Think the name of the hospital was Oradell Animal Hospital. If that's the same one they are fantastic with animals most other vets can't treat.

JTA -- as a Bergen County girl at heart (lived there for the first 25 years of my life)... I can tell you many people get Knickerbocker Road (runs north and south, from Northvale area to Englewood, along the eastern part of the county) , confused with Kinderkamack Road (which runs from North to south, from Montvale to River Edge/Hackensack, along the central part of the county).

Oradell Animal Hospital is definitely on Kinderkamack Road.

Yup, it's Kinderkamack. I can see how one might confuse that with the name Knickerbocker, though.

Suzanne, where in BC? I'm "from" Upper Saddle River (and wasn't actually aware there is a Knickerbocker Road).
