Has anyone ever heard of gelceuticals?? or Agel multilevel marketing? a friend is being pressured to participate/consume and I can't find anything on the subject that I trust - any advice or personal stories welcome. Thanks! |

Haven't heard of Agel nor gelceuticals, but when I hear the term "multilevel marketing" I get nervous. Multilevel marketing is also known as a "pyramid scheme". If it were me, I would advise my friend not to get involved in any way, especially if she feels pressured. |

I lost a dear friend who was like a brother to me because I refused to get involved in the 'multilevel marketing' (what I consider a pyramid scheme). He got angry because I refused to sell his junk to my friends. for all I know he's still involved in it. When we were still friends he hadn't made any money. He was involved with Market America. Many years ago another friend tried to get me involved with Amay. |

JOanne, Please type in "Gelceuticals +scam" in Google and you will hit a mountain of web sites complaining (and then sellers contradicting) that it is a Ponzi or pyramid scheme that makes little or no money for those who buy in. |

Well, I had googled gelceuticals, but hadn't stuck 'scam' in there, mainly because i think you can find anything you wish linked to scams. I had suggested my friend try our Fair Trade Office (which is a kind of consumer protection authority). (I also happen to be an Amway person - gasp! - although I now just use products that I buy from a friend. And several close friends are successful in many kinds of party plan and multilevel companies, so I don't ordinarily pan them without doing some research) Partner and I met through an Amway conference - 7000 people there, he sat next to me and we were married by next year's conference. Depends what you're looking to get, I suppose... I'm more concerned because the company appears to have trademarked the term while hailing it a 'nutritional breakthrough', yet no-one I class as reputable seems to have heard of it or the products. And I have passed along all your concerns about financial management and relationship costs. Thank you!!!! |
