Hello folks, my wife and I moved to SO/MW last year and never organized a GP. Now my wife is suffering with a terrible flu (we think) and we need a doctor quick. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in the immediate area? |

Dr. Orenberg on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. He's not my primary, but he was incredible during a friend's recent life-threatening emergency and I plan to use him once my guy retires. |

You can just walk in and see the doctor on duty at the Summit Medical Group, in Summit, 908-273-4300, corner of Springfield and Summit Aves. If you need something closer, they have a satellite office with several physicians in Short Hills, but you have to make an appointment to see one of the doctors there. Dr. Marcia Sherman -- internist -- is excellent (973-376-3052).
