We have relatives visiting from another country and want to take them on a car trip to DC in late June. There's 5 of them and three [including a toddler] of us so we'd like to rent a 'church-van' type vehicle that can seat 8 people comfortably for an almost-4hour ride. We're looking to pick up on Wed[6/28] evening or Thurs[6/29] early morning and return Sat.[7/1] morning. Anyone have any thoughts/leads as to where we can rent such a van?

I think you can check Yahoo Travel for their comparison-shopping on car rentals. I believe most large rental-car companies can get you a vehicle like this. |

We rented a Conversion van from Adventures on Wheels in Middletown, NJ (on Route 35 or Route 36) for a trip to the blue Ridge Mountains... 5 adults and a child. They deal in RV type rentals.
I'd also suggest Enterprise... with enough lead time, you should be able to get a 8-10 passenger van.
