Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay a nanny/babysitter to take care of my 20-month old and 5-month old? 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. No light housekeeping and no driving req.

Thanks.

I used to pay $10/hr. but that was a couple years ago. But I would imagine it's in the $10-$12/hr. range.

$12 per hour is now typical. My excellent and much appreciated ex-nanny (she was my nanny up until about three weeks ago, when I moved on to a different form of childcare) just accepted a job in Montclair for $15 per hour. You will also be expected to pay for vacation time and holidays.
