Took a great hike in the woods this morning with my 2 1/2 year old and some friends. The hike was led by Jim Cunningham who is assistant director of recreation in West Orange. He's leading another hike next Monday at 10 am. We will be meeting at Locust Grove to start the hike. I've added the directions.
May 8, 10am
Locust Grove: Take pleasant valley way South to glen Ave. (a traffic light at the south end of the park) and turn left. Locust Grove is a short distance along Glen Ave, just past the Millburn Library. #Please note that Pleasant valley Way becomes Cherry lane and then Brookside drive, but it is all one continuous road.)
