I cannot keep going into the city for my daughter's care (mild CP), my toddler just broke his arm and needs follow-up, and was wondering if anyone has an orthopod they'd recommend.

We have been to:

1) Altongi - Does anyone else notice that he doesn't use pronouns and is really weird? My husband and I both think he's high-functioning autistic.
My daughter was very uncomfortable with him

2) Liggio - Liked him, he was surgery happy. Other two orthopods seem to think the surgery would be detrimental, rather than beneficial to her condition.

Any experience with Nuzzo? Anyone else?

Thanks!
M

About to go to Liggio, but just as a follow up to a possible wrist fracture. SMG recommended Liggio, Nuzzo and Altongy. I picked Liggio due to proximity. The urgent care spoke well of Nuzzo....

Yup, I use SMG, too.

As an added bonus, Liggio is handsome - just FYI.

Altongy is weird no doubt about it, but.....

He's a real good doctor. My daughter and I would laugh about it (him) after the appointment. It was actually kind of fun. But...

if your child is uncormfortable there must be another doctor.

My son has had more than his fair share of broken bones. Our ped. (Dr. Goldenring in Livingston) recommended Dr. Mark Rieger in Cedar Knolls(practically in Morristown). He has several associates and we've been happy with everyone we've seen. They are on Ridgedale Ave. right off 287. The office is wonderful, they have very nice physician assistants who see you for simple things and follow up. Here's their contact info...good luck!

We just visited Liggio yesterday for a fractured wrist. It was a very friendly, fast, and simple visit for my almost 5 year old. I was surprised that our entire visit including x-rays and the cast took less than 20 minutes.

With that said, a friend with extensive experience, had recommended Eric Mirsky of the Summit Medical Group. His number is 908-277-8704.

WOW. It took me 3 (count 'em 3) hours to get my toddler seen at Altongy.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Yup. Liggio loves the cutting...

I'm gonna try the Orthopedic Center and
also I heard about a spasticity center in Morristown that staffs all kinds
of specialists.

Thanks everyone
