I am devastated that West Wing is ending this season. I think it's the best season ever. Any support groups out there? (Just kidding...) Or, with all the contacts in Maplewood, anyone know the producers of the show who can talk some sense into them and continue it? I think Matt Santos and Vinick are GREAT! So bummed, so bummed. |

I missed this past Sunday's episode. Can you give the low-down. Better yet anyone have it on DVD or VHS? I am also grieving as the series ends. |

http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/show.cgi?show=4 has recaps and a forum for discussion. Also - think the episodes are rerun on Bravo network during the week. |

I think NBC is missing out on an opportunity to broadcast a revitalized show next season. A reinvigorated cast with Santos as President and his staff, including current West Wing cast members, could be very entertaining. Josh and Donna in more prominent roles plus a return of Rob Lowe would be great. I guess we'll just have to enjoy Aaron Sorkin's new show, with Bradley Whitford (Josh) playing the lead character, instead: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_60_on_the_Sunset_Strip

Ooh, I can't wait to see Sorkin's new show. Thanks for the heads-up. I was so disappointed in the West Wing after Sorkin left, but they finally seem to be hitting their stride again. I will miss the show. I caught a Kate & Allie rerun yesterday. It was the first time I had seen it in years. I just started to laugh when I recognized that Mallory from the West Wing was Allie's daughter on Kate and Allie. She doesn't look the same, but I couldn't miss the voice. So, here is your useless West Wing trivia for today. Mallory (Allison Smith) used to play Annie on Broadway. |

How sad is this?? I had a dream Sunday night that the new West Wing administration offered me a key position - but I was concerned about work/family issues given that my youngest is 2...I was really torn up about what to do... apparently, that's how involved I am in the show & the characters - my subconscious is planning life with them after the show ends...they are so much more appealing to me than any real administration (red or blue)... |

I'm game - as long as you don't mind tears and no one talks except during commercials. I'll bring the scotch. I'll need it. |

I was going to say the same thing...will open weeping be OK?! If yes, I will try to make it. Hey LibraryLady! Didn't know that was you either but I did think to myself, "Why, that librarian was very nice & helpful!" I believe/hope Josh & Donna will get together - I think she is dealing with Josh in a smart way...seems like everyone is getting paired up/given a nice life (except maybe Toby) to go to once they leave. Did you see that Oliver Babish is shortlisted for AG? I loved how so many folks were being brought back... |

First the good news... NBC will air a one hour special retrospective at 7pm, right before the last episode at 8pm on May 14th. Bad, bad news........ It's MOTHER"S DAY!!!. Do ya think my kids will be upset when I decline to go out to dinner so I can watch West Wing with my MOL buds??? |

You said it yourself. It's Mother's Day. Besides being a Hallmark created holiday, what better present can your kids give you than to let you do whatever you want on that day. You've now given me my out to leave my homestead. Good one! |
