Have Jury Duty next week. Is there parking there at the courthouse or do I need to fend for myself?

Thanks!

Don't forget to call the number on your form exactly when they tell you to. You may not have to show and calling is the best way to find out.

Fenced lot, gated parking, right across from the entrance.

Can I tell my Newark jury duty parking lot story now? It was a lovely June day . . . While eating my lunch in my car on day 2 of my 2-day jury duty last June, I was halfway through my sandwich when a man approached his car which was parked next to the one front-end-to-front-end facing mine. He opened the driver's side door, and with his back to me and facing his car door, just stood there too long. That's when I realized we was peeing. It was 12:30pm on Wednesday and almost exactly in the middle of the parking lot! I think some sandwich fell out of my mouth at that point. He then zips up and closes his car door and walks away. It don't think he ever saw me.

Okay, Newark. Right? Not exactly. Later that afternoon I get some water from the water cooler in the jury waiting room and guess who is slumped against it? The parking lot urinator. He was just staring absently into space or at the Oprah show, it was hard to tell. I resisted the urge to recognize him, "Didn't I see you taking a wizz in the parking lot at lunch time? Maybe you didn't realize there are bathrooms available here." Instead, I just got a cup of water and returned to my own boredom. Why pick a fight when you'll be released from jury duty in about 40 minutes.

Plenty of Parking, yet, but also a super EZ busride on 2 different frequent buses. 30 min on the nose from M/SO, and drops you right off in front of the courthouse.

If he didn't go, he could have gotten uromisitisis poisoning and died.
