I'm looking to put together a list of local folks who have older parents/relatives in the senior communities down in Manchester Twp/Toms River area or who commute down for work -- for the purpose of sharing occasional rides for parents to come up to MSO, or to be able to send things down (or kids down) for weekend visits, etc...
My mother no longer drives, so a weekend visit for her here means 4 60+ mile drives for me per visit. I'd be happy to pick up your relative, if they were coming to visit, or drop something off for you down there, if you were willing to do the same.
Also, silly things happen like, a plug coming out of Mom's PC, which if you were to go down would be perfectly obvious and nonthreatening to fix, but to an 85 yr old woman means a call for help from Maplewood!
Do your folks live down there? If you're interested in some sort of cooperative arrangement, please PL me.
