local taxi wants $135 one way from SO w/o tips, tolls (which have to be paid 2 -ways)
seems high cconsidering its 21 miles -- appreciate some other possibilities.

Well, car service to LaGuardia or Kennedy is about $175. That sounds right for a cab.
Where in Brooklyn do you need to go and why is NJT/subway out?

Try White Line Limousine ( I think they are out of Verona?) We use them all the time to Kennedy and it runs us about $120. The owner, Ira, is very nice and the drivers are always polite! |

When do you need to go? I'll give you a call with the phone number of someone I know who works for a car service. He's driven a few people from MOL to the New York Airports for way less then what you were told. |

I found the number it's 973.515.0102 Ask for Gregg. I don't know if he knows me by name but his wife is friends with my sister (the kids go to school togethre). My name is the same as his wife's and she knows who I am. Good luck. |
