We are expecting a baby in a few weeks and was hoping to get some referrals on a baby nurse. We were hoping for some help just during the day. Any suggestions, contacts would be great!

I've found that baby nurses are booked months in advance, but found a local agency who claims to be able to book even with short notice. They are called Dorson Baby Care and have had some South Orange and Maplewood clients who can give them referrals. I have NOT used them myself yet, so I'm not referring them, but wanted to give you at least a contact. I asked this same question on the board a few weeks ago and didn't get any responses. :-(

I saw Dorson advertised in a local parenting magazine.

If you need help just during the day and not over night, you might consider looking through the MOL ads for nannies looking for part-time work. They might be qualified and interested in your gig.
