Hello, I'm attempting ot find a public golf course in NJ (Essex). I've never done so before. I'd appreicate any recommendations. Also, does one need to be a resident of the county? Do I need some kind of I.D. card? Thanks. MK |

You can get an essex county ID card and play Byrne (west orange), Hendricks (belleville) or Weequahic (Newark). I think the ID unit is at Hendricks Field Golf Course in Belleville this year as their offices are being redone. None of the courses are any great shakes but you can knock the ball around. |
