When we bought our house last August, the inspector had found termite/ carpenter ant damage. The previous owners took out an annual "wood damaging" policy with an extermiator company based out of South Amboy. We just got a letter from them with the renewal form for $250. I wasn't sure if that was a fair price of not and we're also thinking that it would be better to go with someone more local. Does anyone have a recommendation? I did a search but didn't see anything specifically for an annual contract. Also - we seem to have an ant problem (not carpenter) in one of the bedrooms upstairs and want to have it looked at as well. |

Reesa we had a similar contract with Jay's Exterminator. It was about the same amount, and worth it. |

My bug guy is Bob @ Aristocrat Pest Management: 973-242-0100. I don't have an annual contract with him, but he's taken care of my carpentar ant problem, as well as a bee problem 1 year ago. With us he's been reasonable and reliable. bklyngirl |

thanks everyone - I actually called Ar Dean whose name I came across and the guy told me that I should keep the contract with the company that did the work at the house. He also gave me some pointers for the ants. |
