We were wondering the same thing. I knew someone else would post!

It was flying really, really low, in the Valley Street near Memorial Park/Baker vicinity.

Really, really low, and slow and freakin' loud. Checked with MPD after my post, they said they had no idea what it was about. Didn't see any news station I.D. on the side. The sun was in my eyes so I couldn't read what it did say.

Really freaked me out because the kids are out back and--like I said--the last time this happened there were armed gunmen in S.O.

It was so low I could almost read the side. Mr. Vig said it was numbers, definitely not a news thing. I said the same thing, either somebody armed and dangerous or a bear.

Could it have been a medical evacuation? The location you describe is one of the few in the area which is clear enough of trees and such for a helicopter landing.

There have been quite a few around here flying low to better see the gun on Flood's Hill...just adding to the experience of art. Could that be it? Are you close enough for that?

Not at all. If they were looking for that they were in the wrong park in the wrong town. (Unless they were waiting in a long line of helicopters to look!)
