Any dogs owners with experience with soft ticks. I think it is one after I researched it on the internet but I'm not 100% sure. It is soft so it just pops blood when I try to remove it. Or maybe it's some other weird whitish bubble/blister that I've never seen in my entire dog owning life. Anyone? Thanks. |

grasp it firmly close to the head. Use a napkin or tissue to pull it out. Not hard to do, and infinitely much improved for the pupper. Jersey Girl |

Jersey Girl, It's too soft and it pops. I can't grasp it... Maybe it's something else. |

Elizabeth, Can you see the tick's head? If so,you can give it one last try by using tweezers and grasping the tick right behind the head, gently, but firmly, pull it straight out.Don't be alarmed if the head separates from the body. It will fall off. Be sure to wear latex gloves. If you are the least bit squeamish, go to the vet without delay. Good luck, Calli |

Agreed. I am going to the vet since I can't figure out what it is for sure. |
