Hi Everybody, I need a gift for 13 year old boy, $30-$50. He likes science and computer games and he seems to appreciate gifts (things) as opposed to cash/gift certificates. Thanks! |

You could direct him to this website: http://www.instructables.com/howtoons/ and buy him the supplies to make a few things, the marshmallow shooter and the bottle rocket might be especially appealing to his age group. |

Here's a good site that I've had success with: http://scientificsonline.com/ This is great unless you think he may be too old: http://www.elenco.com/SC-300S.htm (You can get it cheaper elsewhere - like here: http://www.daxstores.com/el-sc-300s.html ) With the computer interface, you basically have an oscilloscope - should be good through high school physics. |

Is he into robots? You can buy him a robot kit and he can build his own. |
