My 5 year old's wonderful violin teacher is moving away. Does anyone have suggestions for someone willing to teach a 5 year old? She has not been taught by the pure suzuki method, so she is reading (basic) music. Any suggestions would be appreciated. She loves the instrument, so I would hate to see her give it up at this point. Feel free to pl me. |

Does your child have a recital on Sunday? |

Her teacher, Miss Elena, is holding a recital, but my daughter is not participating. She's at the early "twinkle, twinkle" stage, so she'd probably not quite ready for recitals yet. |

I believe Mary Babiar (of Stirling or Sterling Duo) gives violin lessons and is well regarded. Same with Ms. Latz. Both are local with nice reps. |

Jenny PL me if you want the name and number of a strings teacher who lives right in South Orange. She taught middle school orchestra, and now does music therapy with autistic kids 4-14. She is awesome!!! |
