I'm a reporter and a Maplewood resident, and I'm writing an article for the dating website Match.com about the effects of stress on people's dating lives. If stress has ever kept you from dating entirely for weeks, months, or longer; if stress has ever been the single greatest barrier to your getting out and meeting new people; or, conversely, if you've ever started a relationship during a time of enormous personal stress, I'd like to talk with you. Stories can be past or present, from any time of life, and having to do with any kind of stress (work-related, familiy, health, self-esteem, etc.). Interviews are 10 minutes by phone -- very low-impact. Email me off-list at abaruchi@vf.com. Thanks! --Aliyah Baruchin |

It's not so much my stress, as much as my spouse's stress. She's so anxious about it that it just isn't worth my trying to date. |
