Author Message   greenetree Supporter Username: Greenetree Post Number: 7941 Registered: 5-2001 Posted on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 - 9:21 am:        I may be late to realizing this, but I just found that, if you hide your profile so that you don't show up in the "Who's Online" list, you also hide yourself from the User List. Which means, if you want to PL someone, you have to go looking thru topics to find somewhere that they've posted. Which means that, if they've changed their screen name, you can't search on them if you only remember their registered username. Right? Brothers Ross - is there no way that those of us who don't necessarily want to appear on the Online list can still have our profiles displayed? I don't mind someone being able to find my profile. This all came about because I am searching for Michelle Zembow so that I can PL her and ask her to PL George Berkely to get contact info for Mr. Gus and maybe get him some help dealing with the loss of his business. But, I can't find her searching. Which leads me to another thing: searching for Michelle, I got a nasty-gram telling me to let the Webmaster know the error code (forgotten by now) and tell them what I did to cause the error. I did nothing to cause the error. I searched. I am blameless. The little troll living in the MOL code is evil, nasty and trying to avoid taking responsibility for his own failures.
