Graduation Gifts-What Would You Do?

I planned on either giving cash or gift certificates & then got to thinking whether we should give a gift of equal value to each girl or whether we should give more to the high school senior. Any thoughts? I can't believe the 8th grade "graduate" and the high school graduate are sharing a party! IMHO, the only graduate is the high school graduate - the other is merely advancing another grade. Must be my upstate NY upbringing - no one ever "graduated" until they received an actual DIPLOMA or DEGREE after successfully completing 12th grade and/or college.
