Hi all, we're looking to clear out our attic and would like to temporarily rent a storage space.

I know there's that place on Valley, wondering if anyone has recs otherwise and or an idea of the cost. We would bring the stuff there ourselves.

Thanks!

Can't believe no responses, VIG/SHH! I'm intrigued about this too.

Store well, all.

David

There's a place over by Home Despot, but I don't have any experience with it.

I have used the storage rental place next to the Home Depot on many occasions.
I can't speak more highly of them. Steve accomodated me in picking up items I had purchased at estate sales for a small fee for a man and a truck and then when I was ready to move it into it's permanent location, packed it all back in a truck and moved it 80 miles. They are really wonderful.

Duncan, I believe that's Flexible Warehousing or something. I will call.

Looked into a POD too, I like that idea, but it depends on price I suppose.

I googled self-storage and the place in Union didn't come up. Sherri, do you know the name?

Duncan? Huh, I thought what you said was perfectly informative.

I found the place in Vauxhall, thanks Sherri.

FYI, the place on VAlley was very reasonable.

VIG/SHH: I missed Duncan's original post, post-deletion... Can you post or pl info on Valley and Vauxhall (assuming that's Sherri's place)?

Many thanks,

David

DAvid,

Flexible Warehousing/SO Storage on Valley Street: 973-762-4000
8x10 bin is $80 per month. They have larger but none avaiable
They also have different cubic foot options, but this seemed best for our needs.

City Closet, Springfield Ave Vauxhall 908-687-8880
10x10 unit is $183.95 per month, no additional fees, they pro-rate.

I also looked into PODs but from what I read online this was significantly more expensive. Probably worthwhile if we were storing or moving larger furniture that wouldn't fit in our minivan.

I will call about the storage trailers too.
