We are having a gathering tomorrow and want to find a place locally to get nice cut flowers. Any recommendations or good quality flowers at less than Whole Foods prices?

Shoprite in West Orange has a terrific floral department. Pick up 3-4 bunches and for an additional $1.50 they arrange them with baby's breathe etc. and they look positively phenomenal for under $15.00

Costco has lovely fresh cut flowers that are very inexpensive. You can also try Corrados, but it's a hike and it's catch as catch can.

I know some of you don't like A&P, but I have got some nice gerber daisies and roses there for a decent price...but I also have to second Shop-Rite (if you want to take the drive up there).

Sorry that this is probably too late to be useful this time, but for future reference, best selection in the area is Metropolitan Plants (at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Way and Mount Pleasant Ave in West Orange).

Metropolitan is great, but are pricier than what I'd spend for party decor. I'd save that for taking flowers to someone & wanting them to last.

Sorry, missed the less than Whole Food prices, but you can get great flowers there not so expensive. My GF went there a couple of days ago and bought beautiful Sunflowers for $10.00.....
