I did not get our estate/moving sale in the papers, only on several garage sale web sites......WE HARDLY HAD ANYONE TODAY!!!! People came because they saw the sign out front. Sale is also tomorrow from 8 am to 5 pm
So now I live and learn the hard way....Garage Sale web sites are totally worthless. At least these were free sites, otherwise I would want my $$ back.
So we have ALOT of stuff to sell. So please tell your friends and family to go to 21 Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland. Rte 280 West to Exit 6B laurel Ave North. Bear right off exit, go straight for 1/2 mile to end. Turn left onto Eagle Rock Avenue, go 1/4 mile and house is on left. Gray house with gray stone on bottom.

Hi Shanabana,
Not a drag at all. We have furniture, china, crystal, stemware, porcelains, framed prints and posters, lamps, and 2 antique/vintage wedding gowns. A beautiful set of copper pots with hanging rack that are like new. Coffee table books and old issues of decorating and travel magazines. ...And lots more.....
This is a moving/estate sale rather than a garage sale due to the type of items for sale.
I also have my dad's large old executive desk that is is great condition.. (I have posted this in classifieds)

Well, we had more activity today (whew!) than I though we would.....I took a brief visit to the real estate open house down the block and I was the only person that showed up....guess it was the nice weather.
Well, we still have alot left over to sell, so I will post pictures of the stuff separately.
So now I know from experience only to use print ads....

tabby the trick is to advertise in the local newspapers and to put up lots of signs around town all pointing the way to your house. |

Yes, I am aware of that....we did that with the prior sale and got hordes of people. This one I did not have time to get anything in the papers.
