A friend of mine is in need of a one or two bedroom apartment in South Orange. Can anyone enlighten me as to inventory, prices generally or provide any other information? Many thanks.

I've lived in 3 apartments in South Orange over the past three years, all have been quite different from the last ranging from the bottom floor of a 2 family house, a basement studio, and a "charming" 1 bedroom above a take-out store. Prices range greatly depending on what you're getting and how many people are living there and what utilities are included, if any. A lot of buildings up near SHU house college students, even though some of them will tell you they don't, which is something that might need to be considered. I've had great success finding places through the News Record, believe it or not, but there is also an "rentals" section on the classifieds page that you can get to through the MOL homepage. Good luck!
