Do you know of a good diesel mechanic in the area?
I don't have a diesel yet, but I want to be prepared. |

Check out http://www.TDIclub.com. I just got a Jetta TDI and have learned a lot by reading the forums over there. I plan to try to do the simple stuff myself as I haven't heard good things about the local-est of local VW dealerships. Bought my car in PA. |

Marsahll, my husband is not ready to give up his babies yet, but he has used Beifus and Pinkava (on Morris Ave in Springfield) to do a few things he can't do or didn't want to do himself. (His are old Mercedes'.) |

VIG thanks, After bidding and speaking to many people over the past few weeks I under stand the passion people feel toward their diesel's.
If all goes well tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a 23 year old diesel. |

I am the new care taker of a 24 year old diesel. Now I have to go to the northern coast of Maine to get it. Anyone going in that direction in the next week or two? |
