Does anyone know if I can freeze night crawlers. I bought them yesterday and never went fishing . By Sat they will be mush. Wifey and daughter said to keep them out of the fridge. |

I feed my turtles night crawlers and regular smaller worms. I always keep them in the refrigerator - not in the freezer though. I usually buy 3-4 dozen at a time and they last for several weeks. Occasionally, a few don't survive that long, but most of them do.

It would be better to get a large bucket, fill it with some good dirt (the more the better), add some water. Keep it outside in the shade, and keep it wet. Sat dig them out. |

Jeeze... Ya mean in this day and age of at least two of everything, you don't have your own refrigerator for your beer and bait?. You might try freezing them, but doesn't thr freezer count as part of the fridge? Short of that, call in sick tomorrow and go fishing. |

Or give them to Susan's turtles and buy more night crawlers next weekend. |
