Does anyone work in a cube farm, or oversee folks who do? If so, do you think your company would allow a small, and I mean 5or 6 people video crew into the farm evenings to film a short film inspired by an MOL thread? If so, please contact me directly at duncan*at*freshwater-films*dot*com Thanks |

The guys at my former workplace -- a cube farm -- have great senses of humor. Let me know if you'd like me to ask them.

I'm embarrassed to say that when I first read the beginnings of this post, I was wondering what "Cubes" were and what kind of farms grow them.... |

Mergele - that's great. My favorite definition: Cube Farm: An attempt to create a false sense of privacy in an office environment. Also makes it easier for "workers" to do nothing but sip their coffee and listen to Kenny G all day.

Duncan: The New York City government has plenty of offices which meet the definition of cube farms and has made a lot of City government buildings (such as the one where I work which is frequently used for the filming of Law and Order) available for TV and motion picture filming. Have you considered contacting the City's Office which liaises with the motion picture and television industry? They may be willing to let you use a cube farm site after working hours. |
