I was able to get a permit from town hall, and now I can bring the little bugger home. It appears that she has a fever, she is a bit hot. Any recs?

Did the TH give you all the forms for the correct pepper-ation of your home for the new arrival?

For the fever, i've read that they recommend sour cream which is very cooling.

The general theory is that you should put it on the reddened skin, but there is another train of thought that taking it internally may also help but try not to inflame either end of the digestive tract. Put some into a syringe, and pop-er up..

It's jalapeņo, not jalopeno, just like the hot pepper bearing the same name. Do you also have a dawg and kat?
