I am planning on starting a new business and would appreciate any suggestions on setting up a website. I don't want anything too complicated- stylish and easy to navigate, with e-commerce options. Any information on costs, contacts, etc...would be helpful... |

Is this something you want to do yourself, or are you looking for someone to build the site for you? I can recommend someone if you want them to set it up for you, I'm sure their prices are reasonable, and they're also a local new business. Send me a PL if you want their name. Good luck with your business!

I just finished designing a Yahoo! store for a client. Yahoo has recently lowered hosting prices, too (or is running a special): http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/merchant/ Design costs depend on how many products you will be selling and who is handling the copywriting and product photography. Feel free to ask more questions here or via private message. |

Thanks for the information! I am still in the development phase, but hope to get started within the next 6 months-I appreciate all of the input/contacts. |
