My old CD player won't play CDs with MP3 files. Can anyone recommend an MP3-playing PORTABLE CD player that's inexpensive to moderately priced (preferably the former)? Thank you!

Having just switched from mp3 CD's to an ipod, I have to ask why you want an mp3 CD player.

It's because I want to be able to make a backup library on CD of the classes I'm receiving by podcast. My iPod won't be able to hold everything after a while, and what if my computer crashes or I have to replace it in a couple of years? I want to know I have a way to access the old classes well down the line.

Ah! That makes plenty of sense.

I have a portable CD player that plays MP3's, but it's unreliable, so I won't recommend it.
