Friends have just moved to India and are urging us to get Skype. I've got a PowerBook G4, using Mac OS X (Tiger). Any thoughts? experiences? counsel?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, I have Tiger and use Skype all the time with my friends and family both in US and Europe. (It's very easy to install!) The quality is as sharp as a phone and from computer to computer is free. You also have the possibility to call from your computer to a regular phone after a charge (which i haven't use it because it doesn't accept credit cards yet for some reason) but I find the rates to be better than my international telephone plan.
When I use Skype, I'm right at my computer or we use it on our laptop (PC) around the house, but Skype offers phone-like head pieces, that you can buy through their website, and talk anywhere in your house as if you were having a regular phone conversation (am not sure if you need wireless for that though).
