I have a little problem. I use netscape browser, and have stored my password for MOL on the computer. However, when I go to look at my profile my username comes up but not my password in the form. When I type in my password it automatically saves another Mayor McCheese password on the computer. Then, when I view pages on MOL the autopassword box pops up with 2 mayor mccheese's at every page that I view in MOL.

I can very easily delete one of these passwords from the master list stored on netscape, but I was wondering if this profile area that is void of my password is a problem on my end, or this is something on your end? It's not a big deal at all, I was just wondering.

Sounds like a double whopper of a problem.

The empty password boxes in your profile is probably ok. Try deleting the passwords in netscape.

To elaborate on what monster said, you should not let your browser save the password, because the website will do it, by storing it in your cookies. These cookies are stored by your browser, but in a different mechanism. Just say no to your browser.

OK, now I remember why I saved the password in the first place. In the username form instead of "Mayor Mccheese" I get "Mayor+Mccheese". And I have to edit the username for each post. Is there a way to switch this?

You can change the appearance of your user name which appears in red to the left of each post by editing your profile (just click on my profile on the menu bar and follow directions) but you can't change your user name which appears in black to the left of your post unless you e-mail Jamie or Dave and ask one of them to change it for you.

Since the name in red, which you control, is what most people really look at when you post, this is the one which counts.
