I just got a new cell phone from verizon since my plan was about to expire, so I snatched up a free Samsung a950 phone. Its got speakers and an MP3 player on it, however it requires you to have one of these TransFlash memory cards. I didn't buy the accessory (because it was additional $$), and I wasn't really sure about it. Plus, verizon's accessory prices are much higher than what I have found on the internet. Here is the question, if I buy one of these TransFlash memory cards, what other equipment will i need to load/unload it. If I have mp3s on my hard drive, how do i get them to the card, does the card come with some sort of reader device? Does my PC need to have a memory card slot reader? any help or insight is appreciated! |

The cards that I have seen generally come with a SD adapter that you slip the transflas card into, then put the SD adapter into the appropriate card reader slot. For getting media on the card, whether mp3 files or image files , just drag and drop, or copy & paste. Of course a data-sync cable should work also. This reminds me that I've been wanting a Transflash card for my E815, I had found a good deal but then I forgot about buying it. The last time I checked, Motorola had a good price on them, hold on and I'll check. |

the best price for 512 MB of Transflash memory w/adapter is $38.98 at Newegg, at least until someone else finds a better price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?DEPA=0&Item=20-171-110&ATT=20-171-110& CMP=OTC-dealram |
