One of my PC's will not boot up. I receive a blue screen with an error message "Unmountable Boot Volume" Is there something obvious I should do or will this require someone with technical expertise.

Before you try solution 2, remove the hard disk and put it back in. Often, taking stuff apart and reassembling it helps, for inexplicable reasons.

I had that. After a lot of poking around, Dell support sent me to a site, I loaded one file and all was fixed.

I'm sure I posted the effort in this thread.

I'll look around.
