One of my PC's will not boot up. I receive a blue screen with an error message "Unmountable Boot Volume" Is there something obvious I should do or will this require someone with technical expertise. |

http://www.windowsreinstall.com/install/winxp/howto3/unmountable.htm Before you try solution 2, remove the hard disk and put it back in. Often, taking stuff apart and reassembling it helps, for inexplicable reasons.

I had that. After a lot of poking around, Dell support sent me to a site, I loaded one file and all was fixed. I'm sure I posted the effort in this thread. I'll look around. |
