I need alittle help here. Casio software for AVI files doesn't load properly. Versiontracker software for Quicktime/ Casio AVI conversion doesn't load properly.

I keep getting this old looking screen that says ACTIVE SET, EDIT SET under an Internet heading. Pop up saying another application has changed you internet setting. This all looks like OS 9 classic. Any suggestions.

I basically need software to download and play MPEG-4 from a Casio Exilim S600 on iPhoto and Quicktime and be able to burn DVD's.

Here is the versiontracker software.

It says to move into /Library/Quicktime. There is no Quicktime in my library.

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/27349

Thanks .

Did you try the Casio AVI Importer Component that you can download from the Casio site, http://world.casio.com/qv/download/en/avi/dl.html ?

You may also want to check out the VLC Media Player from VideoLan, http://www.videolan.org/

Just make one then: Open up your Library folder. Command-shift-N to make a new folder and name it "QuickTime". Watch the caps and spelling.

It sounds like OS 9 too, the way you describe it. What exactly are you running there, an installer? Do a "Get info" on it and you should be able to see if it's a Classic app.
