We have Direct TV with Tivo. There's a movie one of my nephew's wants to watch on PPV. He wants to Tivo it so he can rewatch parts of the movie. I've taped movies off HBO and other movie stations when we had Cable Garbage with no problems. I have never bought a PPV movie though. |

Buy the movie and then set the Tivo to record at a certain time and channel. That's it. I would suggest buying the movie a little bit before it starts so that you can get the Tivo set up properly. |

And the question is? A: Do you tell your nephew that he can't watch the movie, then laugh? B: Just tell him to piss off, and then walk away? C: Ask us if it's possible to record the show since it's PPV show? Answer: yes to all the above okay, you may be able to record the show and view it later, and maybe not, does DirectTV have PPV? If it does then the show may be tagged so that recording isn't possible, or at least it may be a little fscked up when playing back. I haven't recorded a PPV show on a Tivo, but I have on a VCR and that worked fine. Answer 2: Beats me, follow questions A & B |

I've recorded several PPV through DirecTV on our Tivo with zero playback problems. The really cool thing is to transfer it to you home computer for later playback without losing any space on the Tivo. |
