This morning, I was trying to send a group e-mail to other members of an organization to which I belong and kept getting system failure messages when trying to send the e-mail to those members who are verizon subscribers because Verizon suddenly considers my e-mail address to be that of a spammer. Note: There are only about twenty of us in this group) Is there any way I can successfully send e-mail to verizon members using this e-mail account? |

Can you send messages to individual members, one at a time? If not, then they have probably blacklisted you as a sender, at least temporarily. Try putting the member list in bcc also |

"Try puttin the member list in bcc" I'm not sure gmail has that provision since I've never sent blind copies from their before but I'll give it a shot and report back. Thanks. |

I had the same problem today and it was to an individual, not a group.

People should avoid using Verizon if possible because they're probably not getting all their mail. |

There's a problem with sending mail from verizon, too. When verizon users send me mail, the mail system violates some rule -- I forgot which -- and my spam catcher thinks it's spam. Don't use verizon mail. There's enough free mail to take its place. Besides, if you use your ISP's mail, you have to change addresses when you change ISP's.

I've been having the same problem with Verizon kicking my mail out as spam, since sometime yesterday morning, both from my own domain and from g-mail. They are seriously screwed up. |

It appears that you're the victim of a general problem with Verizon filters. See this discusion about the effect on GMail |

I sent a different message to the same group last night. This time I received no system failure message. Therefore, I am assuming the Verizon problem has been solved -- until the next time. |

I suspect Verizon was embarrassed by this move, i.e. blocking all incoming mail from gmail.
