Hey everyone-- I'm desperate to learn how to encode and post Flash video so that it plays smoothly and at high quality...I've got MX 2004, and an iMac G5. I'd take a full-fledged course, but I can't draw and don't have much (immediate) need for the other features. Can anyone help me out? I'm willing to pay you for your afternoon (or less...I'm a pretty quick study). Hit me with a PM...thanks! |

Buy Quicktime Pro, export video or animation as swf, post to a site that will host it, do you have a dot mac account? |

And does that automatically give it the little control panel at the bottom? And what compression settings do you use for the maximum mix of speed and quality (both in the original qt file and when exporting to flash?

This page: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/specs.html seems to indicate that you can't export as swf...am I missing something? |

Dang, I swear I have done that before, but it's been a long time and I've since upgraded to the newer versions, maybe they took it out. I don't use quicktime to change formats anymore, I generally use compressor, cleaner or flash, or what have you with some experimentation. sorry about that |
