Caught in a classic tech-squeeze...lost my Palm T3 device and I plan to upgrade to a portable email Treo device...

So you might say, reasonably enough, why don't you just buy THE NEW TOY ALREADY?

Because the new one, 700P, successor to 650, with much faster access (EVDO for you techies), and a # of other new features (combined w/ Palm OS I've used for 10 years) is coming out in the next 4-6 weeks.

Anyway, if you have an unused Palm device that I could borrow or buy inexpensively that would accept my backup SD card, you'd be helping me a great deal.

Many thanks,

Be well and compute well, portably, all.

David

My palm is so old it doesn't accept SD cards. It's a Handspring Visor Deluxe. I got it in 1999 and 2000.

If you want, I can keep you off ebay by buying a device off ebay and selling it to you at a 10% profit. Just give me a maximum price, minimum requirements, and maximum time you are willing to wait.

Hello all.

Recently I left my phone at Can Do in I don't know where, NJ. I called it and a guy who worked there answered it and put it aside for me. I was sure I had left my Palm device there too but when I asked about it I was told no.

Could it be true that I've not been back there since 4/25 when I posted??

(Enough foreshadowing for you?)

Walked in today...LYT who works there says "Do you have a Palm Pilot?" I said "I did..." Anyway, they had it, hadn't run out of juice/data, they said they had my phone number wrong...wut up w/ dat?? and....happy ending.

Many, many thanks for the usual MOL lovely helpfulness on the part of many people.

Be well, all.

David
