I want to have a secure place to post things about my family and job, to share with friends and family only. From what I understand, blogspot does not offer password-protected blogs. Does anyone know who does, or if this even exists?
For now, I am doing a google group, but blogs LOOK so much nicer.

Yes it is. I have done it through Network Solutions. Get a domain name and web hosting package. Then you can set up the blog, pictures, music, video, etc. in a password protected area. It's pretty easy and you will have the ability to totally customize the space. |

You can also do it through Yahoo 360. You can set permissions however you like, either allowing no one but you to read the blog, allowing only people you allow or allowing everyone. |
