I have a Toshiba TV that's gone bad. Last night the picture started flashing, and this morning it won't come on at all. The red power indicator blinks, but there's no sound or picture.

This is one of their 32" flat-screen models, and it weighs 180 pounds. Moving it is not a viable option. Can anyone recommend a repair person who will come here?

We were happy with Curry TV Service. They're located in Bloomfield but the owner lives in Maplewood and does service calls in the evenings. Give Ray a call at 973-743-8837.

if the tubes are going bad...you may try giving it a good pound on the top. sometimes jumpstarts them back for a long time.

actually i wouldnt recommend that. But it did work in the TV studio quite often.
