Ok...so I signed up for callwave fax service where you get a fax number and they convert it to PDF and email it to you. The reason for doing this was to get a PDF file, print it, sign it, then I can just either scan it or hand fax it back.

So, whenever I get the dang PDF files, they won't print, mostly I think because of the page margins or whatever. The printer at my corporate office just won't print the suckers.

Seeing that I can fool with the printers, anyone have a good way of getting this PDF doc onto paper that is free?

Thanks!

What happens if you change scale to 90% when printing?

same thing. sends job to printer, my stupid start/cover page prints, but no document, and no errors.

when you say change scale, I changed the zoom level, is that what you meant? Maybe I am missing a setting somewhere.

try opening it up, saving as a pdf with a different name, and then trying to print.

Have you tried this?

1. Choose the select tool.

2. Select the entire text.

3. Copy the text to clip board.

4. Paste the text into Word or Wordperfect.

5. Adjust the justification as needed.

6. Format the document in the word processing program.

7. Print.

These PDF's are images in Rick B's case, as they are faxes that he receives. Copying and pasting won't work, unless, perhaps, he pastes into mspaint. Hmm, give that a shot, Rick B. But it really shouldn't be that hard. The point of the callwave account is so you can save and print your faxes.

Good point Tom. These are not "true" PDF's. They're tiff wrapped so they can be displayed as PDF. As Tom suggests, try processing as an image.
