I have an iMac G5 and an HP PSC 1610 All-in-One thingy. The thingy is a printer, a scanner, and a copier. It is not a faxer. (Is that a word?)

The HP software allows me to scan images to various file formats. One handy format is PDF.

Is there a way to combine PDF's into a single PDF? Of course, a PDF can have many pages, and this would be ideal when I scan several images that comprise a multi-page document.

Third party software is OK, up to a price limit.

Under the "Document" menu in Acrobat - I'm assuming you have Acrobat - you have the option to insert or delete pages. Insert allows you to select another pdf to insert into the current pdf as a new page.

To add to what jem said, you'll need the full version of Acrobat. I don't think this option is available in Reader.

No, I don't have Acrobat. I just have Adobe's reader program. I also have "Preview" which comes with Mac OS. It also can display PDF's.

I see Acrobat Standard is $299. My threshold is about $30 or $40.

if you can put each image in the same document, print to pdf will make as many pages as it needs, what image manipulation apps are you using, or even word processing app, make the document, add the images, print to pdf, of course it would make it easier if you saved the images as something other than pdf.

In Preview you can export/save as, the pdf image in various formats.

All you need to do is drag and drop each PDF into a word processor, then print that word document to PDF.

You can adjust the size of each PDF as you need to.

I tried that in Microsoft Word on my Mac, I'm sure it will also work with Apple's Pages too.
