I used to use Moontaxi which was great. They had a jazz vocals station, jazz standards, etc. Alas, it's gone.

Other suggestions?

um.. maybe a radio?

sorry, joking, but it does seem we're becoming more and more dependent on the internet.
Streaming music on the web has to use a lot of bandwidth and other computer resources, especially when several co-workers stream simultaneously.

That said, there seems to be a large selection of Jazz available from iTunes Radio. Lots of other music choices there as well.

Gotta agree with Bailey about streaming music at work. Rip some CDs or usea a radio. Streaming music and video are realy bandwidth hogs.

Just tried WBGO again. It had been blocked by my company. It's working now! Perfect.

Another vote for Pandora - you can customize several stations based on your mood. Sound quality is great and selection is brilliant.

And, not to sound like a stuck record (no pun intended!), I have been using Pandora at work, and it really is a great service. When I don't use that, I usually sign into my Sirius account and stream their music channels.

Another service that seems to be getting some interest is last.fm - http://www.last.fm/

I prefer Pandora over LastFM myself.

And you can plug your Last.fm username into your MOL profile and get a cool icon under your name when you post that you can talk about at parties.

Just tried it and I am totally sold on Pandora. I started with the Diana Krall station and I've been turned on to a bunch of female vocalists I've never heard of. Listening to Lisa Ekdahl now. Who knew?

Thanks ril.

virgindigital.com has some free stations, but it's Windows-only.

A split vote for listening to WBGO online and Pandora.
