I left my cell phone in my pocket, and it got washed.
I took out the battery and am letting it dry. There is water visible under the LCD screens. It won't turn on. Is there a way to fix the phone? It is an LG VX 5200.

Please Help!!

Take the battery out...if the face plate comes off...take it off too. (not unscrew the LCD, just if the faceplate can change too change color etc.) Leave it out next a dehumidifier if you have one...or just in a place itll air out. Leave it there for 1-3 days. After that time..pick it up without the battery in..hold the power button for 5 seconds or so...put the battery in...try it out.

Worked for 2 different types of gameboys...and a cell phone. It just needs time to dry out.
