We have 2 iPods and my SO can't find his cable to connect to the laptop. He travels and wants to take my cable to sync. I need my cable but am wondering if anyone has an extra cable they are willing to sell me. I see them on the Apple web site for $19 but I figure there might be someone out there who lost their iPod, or it died, bought another and have an extra cable now.

Looks like you can easily pick one up on eBay for half that, including shipping. |

Or, if you're going to spend some money anyway, get a car charger for the iPod that has a detachable USB (some are one unit, others come with a standard cord that plugs into the charger). We got a car charger because we needed one, but we ended up using the USB cord it came with as our spare after I rolled over my cord with my office chair and smushed its innards. Now we just move the cord to the car when we need it, but I felt like for the $20 I got a better deal with the cord and charger than just buying the extra cord. |
