Hi gang-
I am trying to build a simple website for my small business (part time). I posted something **very basic** using a Microsoft Publisher and a bit of Illustrator/Photoshop to create/export icons and other simple graphic elements. But I am pretty frustrated with its limitations (I am sure that will come as no surprise).

Are there any other good programs (preferably for a Mac) that allow you the same basic functionality of Publisher --WYSIWYG, easy link embedding, etc---but with a bit more ummppf (more fonts, more sophisticated layout templates)? I just don't think I am up to learning any of those Macromedia programs right now, despite the fact that I am pretty adept on computers, this is just a website to promote a part-time endeavor and I don't really have the time or energy. Also, not crazy about doing my own HTML programming..(lazy me!)Has anyone sampled iWeb for Mac? Is this a good program? Other recos?

I've played with iWeb and it's pretty easy to use, if you think you may have more than one website I suggest iWebSites with it, or for when you have your site up, and you want to use iWeb to play with an alternative design and want to keep it on your server.

You may want to check out RapidWeaver also.
There's also Stone Designs Create
Freeway by Softpress

Apples Pages will work too.
Just about anything is better than that piece of crap microsoft publisher.
Here's a bunch of stuff at Versiontracker that may be of interest, or not.
