I have a machine that has lots of data to back up and the zip 100 drive is not enough. Any ideas? Win 98 machine that can't be upgraded to 2nd Edition.

It depends on how much "lots" is. See if you can figure out how many MB or GB it is.

Is it your only machine? If you have another machine, you can back up from one computer to another, over your network. If not, someone can come in with a laptop and burn a CD of your data.

Or consider an online backup service. Some are free for a certain amount of data.

There's also Streamload. But I have never used any of these services. Has anyone here? Does any of them back up automatically while you sleep? That would be ideal.

Larry, consider using tinyurl with tricky URLs.

We back it up every day. I suppose I could back up to another machine but I was looking for an easier way to do it. I was thinking of online backup as well. Maybe I will take another look. Thanks. fab
